PRIMARY DAY CENTER

Denver's largest daytime drop-in center. Approximately 600 men and women visit daily. Open when most overnight shelters close.

Hours:Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 8 AM – 4 PM (breaks 10–10:25 AM, lunch 11:45 AM–12:30 PM)
Showers:Free — soap, shampoo, towels provided
Mail:Receive mail at SFC address — photo ID required to pick up (held 7 days)
Storage:550 spots — one 30-gallon bag, renewed every 30 days
Phone:Local calls available; SFC's number can be used to receive calls
Clothing:Earn clothes by helping with cleaning chores
Charging:Cell phone charging — phones checked in/out securely
Other:Notary, hair dryers, clothing irons, books, games
💡 Tip: SFC also has on-site health services through a collaboration with Stout Street Clinic — doctors, nurses, psychiatric services, and prescriptions available.

Opens at 2:30 PM daily for individuals who have completed intake. Meals, restrooms, and daytime services available. You must complete intake first — ask at the front desk.

📚 Denver Public Library — Central Branch

Free, warm, safe public space with restrooms, Wi-Fi, power outlets, computers, and social workers on staff. No ID needed to enter.

Hours:Mon–Thu 9 AM – 8 PM · Fri–Sat 9 AM – 5 PM · Sun 1 PM – 5 PM
