🏠 48th Avenue Center
Operated by Denver Rescue Mission in partnership with the City of Denver. Open 24/7, year-round. Provides nightly beds for men, three meals a day, restrooms, and access to support services.
🏠 Samaritan House
Catholic Charities shelter serving single women, families with children, and single men. Provides meals, case management, employment assistance, and transitional housing.
🏠 Salvation Army Crossroads Shelter
Emergency shelter for families and single women. Includes meals, case management, and children's programs.
🏠 The Delores Project
Emergency overnight shelter for women and transgender individuals. No ID required. Safe, low-barrier, and affirming.
📋 Housing Waitlists & Navigation
Step 1: Complete Coordinated Entry — call 303-734-2017. This assessment determines your housing priority level.
Step 2: Meet with a case manager at St. Francis Center (2323 Curtis St) or through the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. They can help you navigate waitlists, gather documents, and apply for vouchers.
Step 3: Ask specifically about Denver Housing Authority waitlists, Section 8 vouchers, HUD-VASH (veterans), and any rapid rehousing programs currently open.
