Editorial Policy
How we write, what we publish, and how we handle corrections.
Plain Language
All content is written for clarity. We avoid jargon, bureaucratic phrasing, and terminology that excludes people under stress. If a listing is confusing, we rewrite it.
Transparency
Every resource listing includes a source type and verification status. We don't hide uncertainty. We display exactly how confident we are in each listing so readers can calibrate accordingly.
No Fake Official Status
Homeless Denver is not a government agency. We do not use language that implies official authority. Pages are clearly labeled as an independent resource project.
Corrections Policy
We welcome corrections. If you find an error — wrong phone number, outdated hours, closed service — please submit a correction. We review all submissions, update listings promptly, and log changes in the Update Log.
Public-Interest Approach
This project accepts no paid placements, sells no advertising, and has no commercial relationships with listed providers. We publish based on whether something is genuinely useful to people who need it.
Privacy
We do not sell user data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
